Irish Guards Association North of England Branch Annual Dinner


Our operational lead Ian Whiteside and members of Beacon Counselling Trust (BCT) had the pleasure of attending the Irish Guards Association North of England Branch Annual Dinner recently. The invitation to attend their association dinner, to organisations achieving a defence recognition scheme award, was held to celebrate the shared heritage, honour the Irish Guards Regimental values, and recognise the unique contributions of their member. BCT were formally recognised during the evening when BCT Trustee Darren Meila received a commemorative plaque acknowledging the valued support BCT and AFGSN provide their association and veterans as a whole. The event was also supported and attended by the businessman, philanthropist, and Phones 4U founder John Caudwell.

Working to reduce the stigma of gambling harms across the armed forces community and in doing so promote a culture that encourages access to appropriate specialist support.
