Naval Families Federation (NFF) Magazine

A big thank you to the Naval Families Federation (NFF) for not just highlighting the vital work being carried out by the Armed Forces Gambling Support Network (AFGSN), but for allowing us a 2 page spread in Summer edition of Homeport with over 16,000 copies distributed amongst serving personnel, families and veterans organisations.


This is a key edition to be featured in, with the added pressures and stress over finances in the 6-week summer holidays.


With children potentially gaming more, and making in-game purchases such as loot boxes, this can be a perilous time for families. Beacon Counselling Trust offer a ‘young people’, as well as ‘It’s more than just a game’ programmes, where you can find out much more about the links between gaming and gambling.


The NFF do an amazing job in supporting the families of those who support their partners to fulfil their duty. It is often a thankless task to be a service spouse, but one that is essential in keeping our services running.
